yes, they have.. and it is very hard on the relationship when this happens.... but if your relationship cannot withstand trouble from the outside, what will you do when problems occur inside?....
and to answer the rest of your question... It was my best friend, he did not 'try' to ruin our relationship.. but he was suggesting a break-up between me and my girlfriend... we had been going through a VERY rough spot in our lives, and felt each other drifting apart.... but luckily, we did not follow his advice and mended all the problems, and now we are closer than ever...... we are engaged to be married next winter.

Yes! My boyfriend's friend, who is a guy, would tell me things about girls that my boyfriend had liked in the past. He would also tell me about times when my boyfriend would hit on girls at bars, and stuff like that. He would also make up things that I had said, like that I could never forgive my boyfriend if he didn't go with me to a family dinner. I never even said that! The guy is 26 years old and he acts like he's in high school. But it's all good because my boyfriend and I are stronger than that, we tell each other everything. Now we live together and hardly ever talk to that guy anymore.

Yeah I had that happen twice and by the same female. she hated the fact that I had a boyfriend and she did what she could. she would start with rumors to emails and finally I confronted her eachtime and told her to stop. both times it wound up being a yelling match. and she quit.

Women do this to each other all the time. The most common way is by poisoning the other person's perception of their boyfriend. The second most common way is by sleeping with him.

my ex-bf's best friend did this to us. He told my ex we slept together and everything--i'm not sure if he was jealous of us, or what, but we cut him out of our lives . When we gave him another chance, he did the exact same thing all over again---it was ridiculous. So eventually he was cut out completely.

hehe. yeah. that was interesting. latch on your man, make sure the other woman is out of your life (and his). But make sure you are correct about this before any ultimatums, threats, w/e.
If its at his workplace, you can get him to say "sexual harassment", if its your friend, tell her to step off (but make sure all your other friends know whats going on so she can't turn to them). If its his friend, confide in his "best bud" about it, so that eventually that best bud will tell his other friends, and you'll be the poor victim.
