Mailman Dilemia ! Our Mailman keeps BENDING our mail - What should I do about it ?

Question

My fiance' said I shouldn't mess with the mail man cuase he knows people who did and they stopped getting mail for months
But I'm not just gonna sit back & say nothing
The Mailman keeps BENDING all the large envelopes that I get - My daughter's Professional Pictures where sent from my mom and he totally screwed up the 10x14 cause he bent the package which clearly says DO NOT BEND !!! We paid over $100 bucks for those pics & he screwed the biggest one up !!! I'm SO MAD !!
Well today he Bent yet another envelope - My daughter won a certificate for a Cute Baby Pic and he bent that up too
This is the 3rd time its happend - I thought of calling the post office & reporting him - but My Fiance' said that would be a BAD idea -
So should I just nicely talk to the Mail Man and tell him to leave all big Envelopes on our table thats on the poarch or should I just leave a note on the mail box that says to do that ????
What would you do - I'm mad but I dont want to screw up getting my mail

FYI - my mother did deliver it to be signed for and I wasn't home - so he Bent it up and STUFFED it in the mailbox anyway !!!

Postal workers don't necessarily read the instructions on every single piece of mail out of the hundreds and thousands that they see every day. I'm sure he is bending the pictures to fit the envelopes into the mailbox. A bigger mailbox would probably do the trick. Also, you can ask the companies who are sending you photos to send them in stronger envelopes. I also think that asking the postman to leave the large envelopes by the box would work, but then they'll potentially get blown away or rained on or something.

Just talk to him nicely- say something like, "I'm expecting a load of photos in large envelopes, I know it's a pain for you to fit them in the letter box so just leave them on the little table" If you're nice and polite about it shouldn't be a problem- most people are helpful if you're polite i think

1. Get your mom to place the pictures in a rigid box (that can not bend), or
2. Replace your mail box with a large one.

We once had a mailman that had dyslexia, and mail was delivered to the wrong mail boxes.lace lost.

try the note what a bout a bigger mail box if you are real worried have whoever you expect to send a large envelope to a different address thats interesting about the not getting mail thing, the postal mafia what are you gonna do

i'm pretty sure that the post office or postal workers are not responsible for getting your mail to you in pristine shape....and i think post postal workers do their best to get your mail to you undamaged......really i don't know why your mother sent such expensive photos in the regular post like that, why didn't she have you sign for them so that they wouldn't be left in your small mailbox??....i truly don't think it's the postmans fault, but it's obviously upsetting you-so i would call the post office and ask them what they suggest you do about oversized envelopes that get delivered to you....

The mail man can't stop mail that is a Federal Offense.... report him to the Head Post Master.... look on the internet USPS.com if you are in the U.S.

My dogs knows my sons call. I ask her to locate Oskar and she or he runs to him. that's probable because he's purely a toddler and that i'm consistently declaring his call, and were at abode fairly some the day so she's listening to me call his call lots :)

tell him
