I love my feet touched and licked (at least by my dogs). A fetish isn't necessarily a problem. You say you may have other fantasies, then approach your girlfriend with this one. If you trust each other, you should be able to tell her about it. You just need to be open to the possibility that she may not be into it. When you tell her, let her know that it's something you really like but if she's uncomfortable with it there's no pressure. If she freaks out you could always mention that you brought it up with her because you trust her and you would only tell someone very close about it...that should score you some brownie points.

This is actually a pretty common fetish. (Granted, I've never had to deal with it, but it's still common.) Don't just go for it. Ask her if she would feel comfortable with you trying. If she says it feels weird or doesn't like it, stop. It's all about respect.
After all, it's not like you're asking her to do something illegal or painful.

I dont know what kind of girl you are after, but the word 'fettish' can freak some people out.. she might get to thinking what else you are into.
I think you should just say how much you love her feet and that they are beautifl, that way you wont freak her out and she will feel good about her feet :)
