Hang on - by refusing to accept a label does not mean that your beliefs are likewise without a label. OK. Simple question. Do you believe in a higher power? No? Then you're an atheist. Or... do you believe with no clear understanding of what you believe in? Then you're agnostic. So, it's not a case of you not subscribing to a particular religious belief - you are merely in denial about the fact that your religious belief, or lack thereof, are appropriately labelled.

You will get no argument from me on your right to believe and express your faith in the way that works for you, as long as, that expression does not harm or hinder anyone elses right of expression of faith. The only issue that comes to mind is that if your faith is ever flowing, unyeilding, unwaivering does it ever grow into belief. Kind of sounds a little stagnant. I think that hope, then faith, must grow to belief and make room for new hopes and dreams.

You have the freedom to believe what ever you want. Conjoin diferent denominational beliefs, and even religious beliefs. You can have any sort of faith you want, but it doesnt mean it's going to last forever. I'd pick a faith that is going to last forever. I am not any certain denomination, but I am christian. I believe the teachings of Christ, and he lives in me. Thats where I am in my life. Where ever you chooses to be, whatever make syou happy. But make sure that that happiness will be eternal.
But lets look at it this way. If you believe in Jesus you are christian. if you believe in muhamed, you are musslim. If believe in Buddha, you are buddhist. You believe in nothing, you are athiest. if you thihnk that there may be something, but you choose not to believe in it, you are agnostic. No matter how you look at it, you cant escape labele. Just like human sexuality. Gay, Bi, or Straight. You automatically are labeled as one. you may not chooses the label tha tis put on you, but it is put on you non the less.

BY THE WAY:
Atheist = An ignorant refusal to believe any form of a higher power exists = "Whatever you say, I KNOW god doesn't exist.
Agnostic = A refusal to believe in the personification of god, but not blinded, but open for external interpretations = "God might exist, but I personally haven't received any sufficient evidence to believe so".
Have a nice day!

Of course you have such a right. My best friend is kinda like that, he believes in God but subscribes to no special belief. But he's spiritual in his own way, he thinks people like me mess things up by bogging belief down with all these details. And maybe he's right? He respects my faith and doesnt trash it, I respect his and really I have no desire to "convert" him. I do pray however that God shows him the right way to go, so, God may very well be leading him and doesnt desire for him to bog it all down with details.

You are exactly right - you have the right to choose. You can live life the way you seem fit - but when this life is over - if you are not part of God's family - then you are lost.

Are you asking us or telling us?
You are certainly free to believe in anything. What matters most though is what the truth is. I think all religions are trying to find truth. Apparently, it isn't an easy thing to find.

Consider this......If a doctor discovers cancer in a person's body, the person CAN choose to not believe it, and they WILL die. What the person believes doesn't CHANGE the truth.
Truth is truth... Truth is a person Jesus said, I AM the way, the truth, and the life.
If you trust in this person, who IS truth, then you will have life eternal.

How about seeker of Truth. Truth is religion. God is Truth. When one becomes spiritually mature they abandon all varieties of religion and surrender to the Absolute Truth.Though that truth has Unlimited spiritual, Names, forms, qualities, etc. So when one surrenders to that they become actually liberated and beyond material religion. Go to stehen-knapp.c for universal truths.
