I’m 29 years old man, I am a computer programmer and my job requires me to sit in front of the computer for a long time. I’m exercising 5 days a week, my weight is 170 lb and I’m 5 ‘ 11. I’m not complaining about my weight on the contrary I’m trying to gain extra few lbs. My problem is that now my belly is getting fatter. I run 3km 4 times a week, do weight lifting exercises to increase my muscles mass. I thought in order to increase muscles mass you have to eat more. I want to eat more but I’m scared that my belly will get fatter and fatter. I wanna increase my muscles mass and at the same time lose the fat around my belly. 90% of the time I cook and I don’t eat outside. I might have a problem, which is that I like to eat sweet stuff.
Please provide me with any suggestion that might help to increase my muscles mass and have a flat belly.
Thx

You might try adding a whey protein drink everyday. Your weight is perfectly acceptable now and if you run 3km 4 times per week I doubt your fat % is really high, go to a site and take your measurements and check it out. You should aim for less than 15% body fat. If you're over cut out sweets and high fat foods, go do some weightlifting and remember when trying to build mass that more weight > more reps.

You need to keep your food low in fat. Cake and sweet stuff usually is going to pile on the pounds. you need to be eating food high in protein to gain muscle. Tuna fish and lean chicken breast are good. Pasta is high in complex carbs which release energy slowly. Wholegrain bread.
If you really must have sweet food then limit the portion size and just have it a couple of times a week. You could do with running a bit further than 3k try 5k instead the time is not important but the distance is. Go at a steady pace until you get used to it.

You must not eat more. That is not healthy. Just try to have more protein (meat, chicken, egg whites, etc) and less carbohydrates (bread, pasta, sweets, drinks) and less fat (butter, mayonnaise, etc). Also, keep up exercising and do a bit more of abdominal muscles exercise (sit ups, etc).
Don't take artificial stuff, you need to keep healthy, not a macho screwed up body builder!

CARDIO!!! you could do all of that other stuff and a million ab crunches and still not loose a whole lot of weight in the belly area... do a ton of cardio and make sure you sweat alot...
