Most lagers are OK provided they are not brewed in the UK under licence by Whitbread. Go to France for the day and get some proper lager, it tastes much better.

Of all the mainstream lagers that you get, nothing beats a Stella in my opinion. And of all the non-mainstream lagers, um.... nothing beats a Stella.
That answer was shorter than I thought it would be!

There's no point in having a favourite because it all tastes exactly the same (unless you can get something that is genuinely imported from Germany or possibly the Czhech republic) - i.e. it tastes of carbon dioxide, sugar and chemicals. Why don't you drink proper beer.

I once chatted this young lady up. When I asked her name she I'm Stella and am reassuringly expensive. Which I thought was a good reply......

Stella, eh. Hmmm. I suppose you know they call that stuff wife-beater, and not without good reason. It's full of artificial crap and used to send my mate loopy, not that he had a wife or girlfriend to beat, fortunately. He won't touch it now.
