It is a good thing if you want to murder a person legally. But I think it is barbaric and wrong to support State sanctioned killing. There are just to many mistakes in our justice system and once a person is dead it cannot be fixed.

I'm ambivalent with regards to the death penalty issue, i.e. should there be one or not, but I would say that if you're going to have a death penalty, it should be carried out more swiftly than it is in many states. This business of people being on death row for 10-20 years is ludicrous.

I think Death Row is a stupid idea. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally for the death penalty but death row is a joke. People sit on death row for years and are more likely to die of old age before they are put to death. Then they get appeals, and overturn convictions. Its really a joke. They should be convicted, sentenced, and shot. Swift non-expensive justice.

Bad, why should they be kept around for years just to put them to death? Kill them right away and save them the long suffering and us the tax dollars.

I'm against the death penalty so I would have to say it's a bad thing.

I think it's a bad thing in general. they shouldn't have a place to house these guys for decades. just take them out and execute them. who cares if it hurts? did they worry about the pain inflicted on their victims?

i believe that it is a good thing because some people don't deserve to live after they have committed certain crimes.

i think its both good and bad
u cant keep all criminals in n just take tax money to support them but then again who r we to take someone's life
i guess it depends on the case and crime
