Have anyone ever did there own piercings? What happened?

My cousin did her own tongue piercing 2 times and I'm thinking aboutt letting her do mine.

i cannot recommend that, there is nothing wrong with piercing ur own ear. but the tongue has a lot of veins and arteries that could be accidentally hit by the needle. Just get it by an experieced piercer

Please do NOT let your cousin pierce your tongue
there are several reasons why she is unable to

she cannot PLACE it right -
there are 3 important veins in your tongue, you have to precise about where it is pierced, if you hit one of these veins the amount of blood will be unbelievable and dangerous.
as well as that it will be wonky.

She does not have the right equipment (needles etc.) or the knowledge of which size bar to use etc.

She does not have proper sterilization methods available, if bacteria gets in and infects your piercing you may well die of blood poisoning. if you develop blood poisoning, the only thing you can do is take antibiotics - which will either work, or you die. I wouldn't take the risk of finding out which would happen to me.

there are many many more reasons why this is very DANGEROUS and you should get it done professionaly, which would take literally days to write in full here, so i have just written the above in the hope you will take this advice.

My friends mom tried to peice her cartilage in her ear when she was younger and the skin died and fell out around the peircing. She now has a tiny peice of her ear missing. I would get the peircing done by a professional because the tongue is a very delicate when it comes to peircings and you wouldnt want it to get infected.

My professional opinion would be that, if she had to pierce her tongue TWICE, then I sure as hell would NOT let her do mine. There is a reason she had to do it again. Probably cuz she MISSED THE FIRST TIME! DUDE STOP BEING A CHEAP *** AND GET IT DONE PROFESSIONALLY! ITS ONLY 25 BUCKS!!!!
