in a fight/ remember cats are faster, more agile, smarter, have better hunting instincts, stealthier, retractable claws, ability to climb trees, etc.

Cats would always win.Cats have a weapon:sharp claws and teeth. All dogs can do is bark at the cat.Cats rule!

Apparently your vote goes toward the feline species. But you are right - a cat will kick a dog's butt without shame. Usually dogs are quite aware of that and back off first before it gets to that point. I think it is the retractable claws part and the eyes of the tiger.

A cat definately would win. 1-it's faster 2-it always lands on it's feet 3-if a dog caught it, it could just claw the dog and the dog would let go (dogs are very emotional pets and very big sissy's -- don't think i'm trashing dogs - i love them - as a matter of fact I have 4 dogs and 3 cats) Cats get my vote on this one!

cat's are more agile but think, there is no such thing as seeing eye cat. So dog's I would guess would be smarter. It's never been tested so don't take my word for it. Really, I would guess it would be based on the health. A very weak cat would definately be at the dog's mercy. Same for the opposite.

Um this is kinda hard to awnser,but this morning my cat ran off a Jack Russel terrier then i heard the russel whimper so i'd have to say, it depends on your cats/dogs fighting ability.

I say dogs. A legend says that the dogs will sit by the masters side until they die....Cats will just eat the person dying.(wheather master or not!)
