Acts 16:31. It led to the baptism and salvation of the household of the Phillipian jailer. They obeyed the word as preached in Acts 2:38.

Acts 16: 31..Plain as day. The other verse that relates to your question is found in John 14:6. Jesus says,"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me."

Acts 16:31, New World Translation: "They said: "Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will get saved, you and your household."
It's interesting to compare various translations, though. That way, you can get a fuller flavour of what the scripture said, through the different words used which mean the same thing.

stable-day, a lot of Paul's teachings and preaching i'm slightly perplexed, and don't likely know even though if it fairly is real. (i know Paul is a real believer) I even have examine some contradictions from Jesus Christ words and Paul's words. definite, in case you think and love Jesus Christ and have self assurance you will circulate to Heaven! John:6:40 seven. :D additionally, in case you confess your sins to Jesus Christ and ask for forgivness, yet you have not have been given faith and you do not have faith you not forgiven. thank you God Bless

Yeah, yeah, Acts, Romans John - inspired by the murderer Paul, they all portray J.C. as some arrogant "only through me" kind of guy... no wonder he got up people's noses and got himself topped.
But in Matthew, in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus says:
"Not everyone who calls me "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only those who do the will of my heavenly Father."
So it's not enough to just be a Christian (in fact he implies in the same passage and elsewhere that you DON'T have to be a 'Christian' at all, as long as you follow God's laws and do God's works) - you've still got to behave yourself.
And when the time comes, loads of so-called Christians are gonna be well f*cked because of their arrogance! (Including anyone who gives me a thumbs down or reports me for this answer!)

It says, * Whoso ever believe in me shall live forever*, it's up to you to save yourself. It's not a religion it's a relationship, you must have an experiance of Christ to live forever.
Remember, Christ died on the cross to save us, the rest is up to you.

Try the following verses:
John 5:24 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
John 11:26 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
