My question is are doing chicken breast or boneless chicken wings?
I like the taste what I'm eating, unless I'm eating rotten meat. So I don't like marinades that much. Simple fry the bird and consume it.
It should be pretty quick depending on how thick the breast is. You may need to finish it off in the oven if it is thick. 350-375 to when every it is ready... my wife likes it charred.
For boneless chicken wings pretty quick and harder mess up because it is dark meat.
If you are just taking it out of the package and throwing it on the skillet, at least rinse it off (get the funk off) and pat dry (Hot Oil and Water don't mix) with paper towel
Put skillet on burner.
Turn burner on high
Add oil... cover bottom of pan and a little extra.
Wait a couple of minutes...
Put hand over hot oil...
If feel heat and oil kinda "moving" put in chicken. It should sizzle when you put the chicken in. Don't let the chicken touch (personal thing) to make sure you're not overfilling the pan. Lowering the heat too much makes it uneven.
Turn down pan to "usually" half, Flip after a couple of minutes (use a tong)
you can go slow and low...
You not doing BBQ so go flip away.
Wait until both side are golden brown....
Salt, Pepper, and Sauce it however you like how every you like.

Drege boneless wings in seasoned flour and drop them in the oil. The oil should be about 375 because as soon as you drop food in the oil, the temp drops. if you are frying in a skillet, cook unitl the internal temp reads 165. If you use a deep fry method, the wings will float to the top of the oil when they are cooked. Season flour with salt and pepper. Plain but good. You can then toss them in your favorite sauce.

On high heat. Be sure the chicken parts are well dried and seasoned with salt and pepper
Put about 1 inch of oil in the pan - heat the oil well before placing the wings in the oil. Put the wings in one at a time and careful of the splatter - cover let cook for 8 minutes - turn them over - cover and cook for 8 minutes or so. They should be crispy - tender and no pink inside.

Marinate or season the chicken in your choice of spices etc.
In a hot pan ( high heat first and them med-high) add enough oil to cover the bottom, once hot 375* add the chicken pieces, if you used a wet marinade dry the chicken before dropping it in the oil, fry them until brown (3/5 min per side depending on thickens) and delicious.
