OK please tell me that a vet nurse did not say dogs have 2 eyelids in each eye.....WOW get another vet cuz they have 3 eyelids in each eye...the upper eyelid, lower eyelid and the membrane (3rd Eyelid) that closes first..ITs a protective eyelid that covers the eyeball in the left to right direction to prevent dirt or debris from getting into an animals eye while playing, sleeping or simply lying in the dirt..the other 2 eyelids function as humans do.
