In 2001 on 9/11 i saw one of the towers get hit, and both go down.
I watched thousands of people die, then help in the clean up with my brother who is a fire fighter.

We came across body after body, limb after limb, and never found any one alive. Actually we never found any full body still in one piece. I didn't become paranoid after that, but i did become emotionally hardened from the experience. I helped clean up for 3 days. On the forth i walked into the office of Navy Recruiter.

Now I'm a U.S. Navy Seal. As politically incorrect as it may sound i got to kill the son of a bitches that brought my towers down and killed 3 thousand of my people. An then i got to go to Iraq and kill more of them.

But what traumatized me wasn't any of that, it was coming back home and listing to the *** holes who believed we were losing the war when we were not, it was watching the news that constantly talked about marines and GI getting killed, without telling the other side of the story and it was the people who put down the men and women who fight on their behalf.

Coming from some one who didn't think going into Iraq was a good idea, i felt my country turned on me.

I served in the Infantry in Vietnam and was involved in way to many fire fights and larger actions. The whole thing left me very traumatized and I'm still fighting the evils within better known as PTSD. It just can't seem to be explained easily.

a year or two ago, two of my dogs tried to fight each other and the smallest one was almost killed because I couldn't get them to stop. She was seconds from dying and my boyfriend finally punched our bigger dog to get her to release her grip. I'm still dealing with PTSD from that.
