Understand the true meaning and purport of Heaven and all your queries would automatically dissolve.

Heaven (aka Swarga in Hinduism) is a place in the mighty Cosmos wherein the souls rest in peace until they get to manifest a body on Mother Earth. But there is one condition attached. Any soul can only go to Heaven provided there is a positive balance of karma in hand.

All souls with a negative balance of karma go to hell (aka Naraka in Hinduism).

For every soul (aka Atman in Hinduism) at any point of time there are three abodes available. Either manifest a body on Mother Earth provided matching womb is available (for any soul to manifest on Mother Earth the existence of matching parents is an essential must).

If the matching parents are not available on Mother Earth then it is imperative that the soul would have to rest either in Heaven or hell based on the balance of karma of the earlier manifestations.

And what is karma? Right from the first manifestation the closing balance of any life form is transferred to the next manifestation through the process of karma. It is only karma which keeps the system going. In absence of karma the complete existence of Cosmos would come to a halt.

Does this mean that the reincarnation and the rebirth theory are correct... yes, they are hundred percent correct. Every human being started his first journey as an amoeba (single cell formation), then evolved into insect life, animal life and finally gained the form of a human being.

In all these stages the system of Heaven and hell plays role only after one has manifested the form of a human being... the last in the chain of manifestations.

We need to remember here that it is not Heaven that one would want to go but it is the kingdom of God where Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed went. More on heaven here- http://www.godrealized.org/heaven/way_to_heaven.html

Since our perception of Christmas today is one of materialistic gain and give I would have to say it is more likely the antithesis of Christmas.

If you asking what is our individual perception of heaven, then I guess I would have to say I have not given it much thought since my becoming a friend of Jesus had nothing to do with the pursuit of some eternal goal or reward. I was just in seach of a verifiable (latter verified) triuth. I would also hope to meet a lady with a ruler so we can discuss old times
by then her nick name would be both hands in the air open wide.
My guess is it will feel very much like I do when worshipping. That there will be much more mutual fellowship due to being surrounded with like minded life forms. That there would be rewarding work to do, most likely something I am being prepared for here. I expect comfort and health, and to retain my magnificent baratone voice, with which to sing. I am also assuming there will be a lack of temptation. Probably an adequate amount of beauty and that I get to sit on Jesus' lap once in a while. Oh yeah and that I can experience the pure truth and knowing of same. I would also hope to meet a lady with a ruler so we could discuss old times and by then her nickname would be both hands in the air open wide, and dancing!!

HEY SHONUFF. back again, hey? No, heven wont be like Christmas. It is more beautiful and wonderful than any thing here we can describe. . athiests usually celebrate christmas too, its begum just a day to celebrate , eat too much and party. Not often about Jesus anymore.
Heaven will be all about Jesus, and HIm loving us and our loving Him, with no mean ppl there, no hatred, no sickness, no pain. God says in Heaven there will be no more tears. Many here cry thru the holidays all of them from lonliness and poverty, etc.
Only God gives us a little glimpse of scripture in His word, but even then, till we get there, we cant even imagine. BUt, we can be doing all we should be do go there. gift of salvation is free. but keeping that gift means obedience to God. How few want to hear that message? But, its what God says in the Bible.
If you want more than Christmas everyday, begin to pray and study Gods word, and God will begin to give you more glimpses into His perfect plan for you here and later of heaven.
BUt we must choose Jesus before we die or Jesus comes again. so, start today, not a lot of time left.

No. Heaven is just the name for our existence after this life. It won't be the same as this life, because that would be redundant. Death opens into the next life and new experience.

lol christmas is definitely a pagan holiday. the unique social gathering replaced into for wintry climate solstice, orginated via Pagans. Christianity chosen this date to rejoice the delivery of Christ (even however his date of delivery is unknown.) SO ... in end, Christmas is a holiday celebrated via many for various motives.

i pray not. not everyone have had exceedingly good Christmas', i know i haven't. and know that is not the appeal of Heaven, it consists of things we on this earth cannot even fathom.

You cannot relate the divine by virtue of understanding anything here on earth. Remember I said elsewhere that it's a totally different dimension.

Like I've said to another person, "You won't know til you get there." Maybe there will be a big birthday bash for Jesus on Xmas (famous musicians, cake that never runs out, big dance party, who knows! ^_^)?
