To "Q & a guy": Your argument isn't very valid. even as a woman has conceived a baby, the toddler, of direction, isn't at contemporary completely grown. It starts as a fetus with out each and every of the particular platforms that you would see in a human. also, even even as the youngster is born, it keeps to develop. the youngster even finally ends up with extra bones than it once had; certain applications of an toddler's mind get weaker as they become old too because they finally end up being out of date. As we develop, our cells continually multiply causing us to get better in length, so the concept all of us began from a unmarried celled organism isn't too a techniques fetched. now to not indicate, fairly some microorganisms that reason ailment evolve as our drugs receives extra better. that's all about the organism adapting so as that it will be prior to the game and insure the continuation of the species. EDIT: yet another element that I forgot to point is that our "layout" isn't even ideal. we are liable to mutations and ailments. also some factors of the body are not truly needed; there are some issues that our bodies won't be able to evidently get over besides. Now to the question: the purely element of the 'God theory' that seems functional is the "enable there be mild" element. perchance this became probable the huge bang. perchance this universe became created by twist of destiny by a few smart beings or some organic happening phenomenon. perchance it's going to take position again. the conception of an omnipotent being has purely developed with mankind by the years to describe what couldn't be defined. Even now when we gained't clarify something we associate it with issues that we are already conscious of.

Intelligence as a commodity.

Wow. No comment but my answer is that if someone believes intently in something, even if it is 'wrong' to you, it will be 'right' to them for it is the faith they hold and not yours that guids them.

Therefore, being an atheist and feeling man is above God, you would consider the other person 'wrong' and so slander them with the idea that belief in a deity >affects< their reasoning.

What some call a myth some have seen. So it is a matter of seeing. If you have not seen the truth then why criticize ones who have. It's all a matter of your perception. Many have Seen God unannounced to the fundamentalists. Just because one has not yet come across the knowledge that has answered their questions doesn't mean the answers are not there. Some people still believe the earth is flat they just can' reason because they can not see. So it is a matter of Spiritual site to see The Absolute truth also known a Krishna, Jehovah,Allah, Vishnu, Rama, etc. go to stephen-knapp. for universal truths.

I went to church for years or even when I didn't I believed there was a god because I was raised that way. I always wondered if I had not been raised in church would I still believe. Or what it just easy to believe what you have always been taught.

It wasn't until this past year that my relationship with God became real to me. God isn't something I learned he is some one that is. I have become involved i a personnel relation hip with christ. He is with me every day. It's not some thing that I can prove because you could not prove it to me. It is how ever true. My mind has not become feable. God has made himself known to me and there is no going back from here.

I find many people able to reason and debate intelligently regardless of belief or non belief. Reason is not limited to those who have no religious affiliation. Perhaps what you see as lack of ability to reason is simply your inability to see beyond your own opinion to the fact that we all have one and no one will be in agreement with you on everything. If someone disagrees with you on anything outside of religion are they unable to reason or simply expressing their freedom of speech?

question sounded great till I looked at your picture and the words under it, but still I will answer the question you asked.
God is real whether you know it or not, but He gives choice to whetehr you believe and accept or to refuse to believe and reject Him and all He has to offer. The one true God is the God of the Bible and recognizes Jesus as saviour and God too, and loves Him enough to obey and desire to be like Him.
there are many false gods, and God says that any relgion without the doctrine of Jesus is antichrist. so be it.
When someone empties common sense, and lets in false gods and false religion and worship books of those false religions, they do lose ability to think for themselves, because they put themselves under the power of the devil tho most dont know it. once this happens, it is difficult for them to ever let Jesus in. the devil comes as an angel of light, God tells us, and conufses our minds and numbs it to where truth wont enter. Being an athiest is dangerous, and an agnostic too. because the more one rejects God and mocks Him, the futher under the devils power they become, and one day it can be too late and they are lost. But many will come around and we must keep praying for all of them, and loving them and forgiving them as God does. God has so much to offer you man. Its not what you give up, its what you gain. You gain it all the moment you accept Jesus. Jesus is coming soon. Once you die or He comes, its too late, you had to have already made that choice, before whichever comes first.
so, choose now and choose wisely. Dont let the pride of admitting you are wrong keep you from running to jesus today. God is quick and eager to forgive, thats how much He loves you. when you cant believe in God or the Bible, it is you that has lost the ability to reason. but most reject God and His word, before they even study the Bible and just KOW. if we study and pray, and ask God, He will show us all we ask for. Do so today. just try it, what do you have to lose but your pride....????

If I traded in my intelligence to a mythological god such as zeus, mercury, posideon or others, it would affect my reasoning because my reasoning would be based on man made characters.

By submitting to God my reasoning has become clearer than it has ever been.

Hello free your mind become an atheist.. :)

Your name says it all to me.. :)

I used to be an Atheist until the age of 28..my mind was not free, it was enslaved by greed, hatred, anger, lust and drugs..

When I asked Jesus to forgive me, He set my mind and heart free, from all that I had been a slave to.. :)

How can anyone possibly believe, that I was more intelligent using drugs and hating people because their beliefs differed from mine..

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)
