This thread should be about finding more about others religion not about arguing! Especially between my religion (christianity), banging Atheists and Muslims, and Atheists banging my religion (and all others). It just doesn't make sense to me. Why do you insist on making this into a battleground rather than a place for spiritual advice. And don't say well they started it because that is really childish!!!

You're absolutely right. This place has turned into a war zone for religion, racists, and even politics. I realize this is an open forum, and people are allowed to speak freely, however, it saddens me that there is so much hatred in this world.

Because religion/faith has always been and will always be a devisive subject. People, in general, are unable to grasp the thought that others may think/feel differently then they do and to accept those differences. Christians think they are the sole heirs to the Kingdom, as do Jews and Muslims. Atheists think all religious people are out of their minds for believing and Agnostics are stuck in the middle saying "Huh?" (Joking - am Agnostic myself for the most part).
Only when the world learns to accept differences as part of life and to respect those differences will the fights, name-calling and outright deviation from the real message end. Which will be never

i tell u why this thread as u call it turns into a battlefield.the reason for this is that the christians get the non-believers mad for trying to force them onto their christian religion.and that calls a whole stink with the others that are not christian.so the fact that the non believers are not happy with the christians it will always be like this on christmas day even.i betcha a hundred dollars it will.i am a Pagan witch,and they have cursed at me,called me a satanist and everything.the christians are the ones who needs to be kicked out.not us.
and also might i add,that religion is hate,religion is war,religion is decietful.and thats from the band slayer.and that is the truth.

Simple answers here...
1: Some people are unhappy about someone else's choice in religion, and feel they need to force their faith upon them.
2: Some people just like causing problems and enjoy disrespecting others.
3: Some people at too close-minded on religion to be able to honor and respect another person's choice of religion.

It only turns into a battle ground when Christians call non-believers lost ,evil ,needing to be saved ,or trolls .
We atheists have facts to back us up and you guys use an outdated guide to scamming people ,written by uneducated nomads in a scorching desert as your TRUTH and Defence .

It seems to be human nature. Some of us have "answers" but no question to respond to. By asking a snarky, insincere question, one can present such an "answer" in question form, daring others to disagree. A bad question gets bad answers.
I admit I have "answered" a few of these questions, trying to be clever, challenging and insightful rather than merely insulting. But it does amount to troll-feeding. They should properly be ignored. (But they won't.)

Because most people loooooove controversary. I however come to share the word of God- if you dont want to hear it, you do not have to read it. I will defend my Lord and Savior too- but when it becomes an endless debate, that is when it is pointless- fruitless.
Just speak the truth- and pray many will hear!
