Seems like this group is the most cattiest because of people giving thumbs down to others. I'm tired of it and wish Yahoo Answers would get rid of this altogether. I'm probably preaching to the choir so this is just venting. But don't you think the cat people here in Y!A are so catty? I have my favorite top 7 people who answer questions well here in this category and I think they should get cudos as deserved.

To me, it's like every cat and every person is different. Sometimes there is no right or wrong answer. It just depends on the situation and you can't really know it unless you live it. People who really love their pets will take care of them the best they know how. This forum is really just a place to swap ideas. We should all be friends and learn from each other instead of dissing each other. What really gets under my skin is people who say that just because for example your cat got a splinter and you didn't rush him to the vet you're not fit to own (or be owned by) him. It's like those nuerotic people who rush their kids to the doc everytime they scrape their knee.

I think there are a lot of thumbs down in this category because there seem to be a lot of nasty people (not cat people) who use this category to say mean things. For example, how many times, when someone asks a question about their cat peeing outside of the litter box or something, some annoying person feels the need to say something like "throw it out the window" or "give it to the Chinese restaurant down the street." Is that really necessary?

Some people have nothing else to do with their lives but criticize other people. They may be catty for other reasons that don't involve you, don't let them get to you!

i don't know the reason for their cattiness (if that is a word) but i do know that cat's and their subsequent people SUCK, suck, suck, suck!! i also hate cats and their owner to me the word cats is a four letter word..................wait a minute.................any who i don't like cats either and would at least like to start a support group, here i will start ..................hi my name is SAM and i have hated cats since i was a lad, it has been 137 days since i have tried to kill some body's cat but the urges just seem to get worse(little tears) sniffle
