So I really like this girl but I'm not sure how to ask her to winter formal..any creative ideas?

just be like...
hey "insert name here", are you going to formal? If she says, no body asked me yet, be like, don't worry, someone will, you are too pretty to not get asked"
then,
tape a rose on her locker, or bookbag, some books, and tell people to give her some...but no body should let her know that you are doing all this. When she gets out of school, stand in the front of the road, or in front of her house, with a dozen roses, and ask her in person.
roses might be too expensive, so try some other red one...

What's so hard about that? Just ask the old fashoned way....
"Hi ____. I really like you and want to know if you'd be willing to accompany me to the winter formal."
It's as simple as that.
For a nice touch, throw in a little gift.

You should bring a rose to school, Put a note on it with the question and hand it to her at the end of the day, then give her a hug and walk away if she wants to she will talk to you about it

Just ask her if she has a date to the dance, if she says no, then say hey I don't have one either, do you think we could go together, so we won't have to be alone. If she says yes then when you take her make sure you tell her you really wanted to go with her it had nothing to do with going alone.Good luck

get an inivation card and put time & date of the formal / make sure to put a response card with it .

do it in a casual way. say you don't have any body to go with and you'd be glad if she'd join you. if she does by some chance say no, then shrug it off because then she'll know you can handle it.(and your not a nerd) trust me it's better to take the chance
