how do you get to know a shy guy? how do you get him to like you how can you tell if he already does?

Shyness is an emotional issue that can take some guys some time to overcome (if they ever will). It's much like jealousy and such with other guys, it can be caused by past experiences which left some damage or something else. If you truly like this guy and want to try to have a relationship with him....my suggestion would be to take things slowly but talk to him and let him know that you like him. Maybe ask if he would like to do something with you (not a date just yet) and see if he will go? Or, you can just be assertive and ask him out?
Do you guys talk alot and does he know if you have interest in him?

They are only shy at first. The more you get to know them, the more they will open up. Just keep trying...

I was once a shy! All I wanted was someone to respect that and someone who could become my friend. Try to talk to him calmly, as if you had been friends for awhile. The more confident he feels in your relationship will show and you will know if you and he could move on as one! Merry Christmas

U can judge a shy guy easily by his way of talking and his being a bit introvert, but this may not be true in all cases. A shy guy will like u only when u convince him that u like him too and make him confident by ur love. u shud like wat he likes.
it can be easily confirmed by his level of shyness in front of u, whether he likes u or not.

Ask him questions...he sure would reply you in a shy way. Ask him jokingly that you like him...see what response he has.

you need to help break the ice
smile at him, make eye contact
try and say hello hows it going
if you are really bold you ask him out

just be patient with him and try to include him in activities that interest him. you have to be willing to go out of your way to make him feel comfortable and he may eventually open up to you. just don't push him to do so
