ok i keep seeing these questions come up, so many proclaim that god is a god of love and he loves unconditionally, then all these come back and they claim god hates homosexuals. its apparent to me they dont know what god feels. why do christians insist on giving god human emotions? is it right for them to limit god to our understanding of emotions?

No, it's not fair. Our God is a loving God. Just because people on earth do things that God doesn't agree with, doesn't mean that He loves them any less. If that were the case, no one would have the chance for salvation.

God made us in his likeness so if we have emotions then it stands to reason that he has them too. God loves everyone unconditionally we know this because the Bible says it hundreds of times and God's shown us he loves us by dying for us.

No he does not hate the homosexual, he dislikes the act of homosexuality. Much like I really love my sister but I hate the fact that she is bipolar....she threatened to cut the baby out of my stomach when I was pregnant and she was in a rage. The actions or words are ugly and repugnant not the individual. And no we cannot begin to place limits on God who is omniscient.

God doesn't hate homosexuals, He hates the sin that homosexuals are committing.You should be more concerned about what God thinks than man.And if your a homosexual God will gladly forgive you if you want forgiven. But if you want to live in sin it's obvious your not interested in being forgiven, so your problem isn't really with Christians, but with God.

Well if a Christian is saying that God hates Homosexuals.Then they do not know the God i know.God hates no one no matter what the sin.But he does hate the sin not the sinner.He hated that they killed his son .But did not hate them.Not all Christians think allot that's why the Churches are so confused.God is a God of love but he is also a God of wrath.Imagine your child giving up his life for us and we walked over his blood like it was dirt.Would you be upset.

Tell you the truth, God didn't look at yourself but your heart. He digging what's inside in your heart but not digging who good looking you are, homosexual. etc. if God hates that, then he slap alll homosexual and crazy people who doing bad things until their head and faces twisting back. So, do you agree that you start walking facing backwards bec. your face is on the back side not in the front side? God loves us whoever you are. God always hoping maybe we change someday.

the bible says "God is love" He has unconditional love for every living person on earth.
He doesn't hate homosexuals, He hates homosexuality. it is a sin therefore separating those who participate in it from Him.
That's why He hates sin so much.
you ask why do Christians give God human emotions. That's not the issue, we didn't give them to Him, He already had them. He gave His emotions to us. We are created in His image.

I think the closest you will ever come to God's emotions for His Creation is to think of Him as the Ultimate Dad. When I mess up, my Dad still loves me, doesn't He? Of course He does. It does make Him sad that I do such dumb things and hurt myself, and other people, but He always loves me.
