While extremely unlikely, the fact is more along the lines of how committed would they be. Small forces with primitive weapons won many wars against larger more heavily armed foes, but they were willing to die for the cause. In Mexico, the average man is fed up with their government and the lack of opportunity in that country. Most dream of escaping to the north where they can make a decent wage and support a family. I doubt if you would garner much of a fighting force from this population, and if you did their allegiance would be all over the map. I don't suspect we have a whole lot to worry about until we piss off the Mexican population to where they want to eliminate us.

Mexico beat the spanish and the french the most powerful countries at the time, the u.s wanted more territory, the mexicans were winning then the u.s it was a tie no one can beat eachother but the mexican president benito juarez allowed them to take them in exchange for money cuz no one lived in those parts, even so if the u.s would have actually won they are trash now they lost in korea, vietnam, iraq and cant win in afghanistan, russia and china are waiting to attack

i am a writer and i am working on a war story kind of based on the conceptof war..

but its mostly infiltration and sabotage that they do. Most people i talked to about the subject said that they couldnt imagine Mexico puting a big enough army together to do much..

So maybe it could happen my way... infiltration and sabotage... amazine how many mexican americans there are.

If they got all of us drunk on tequila...and we all ate a worm, maybe.

But even then, I dont think there would be anyone there if we invaded, cause they would all run around our armies to get here.
