There seem to be a lot of people who think that AIDS is a virus sent by God to kill promiscuous people and gays, and that all other religions are wrong and evil. These people are horrible, and I want to know what can be done to help them.

In some far gone cases - Nothing. But more knowledge is what brought the curious cat back. Look it up folk I speak truth. My brother was gay (SINCE BIRTH) and I have never understood why people think this condition which brings such emotional pain and suffering is a lifestyle choice. Who would want to go through that if they could avoid it. It's about the same as saying bipolar disorder or clinical depression or down syndrome or sclera derma are lifestyle choices. No F****** way. The only thing we can do to disseminate correct information in talk in a reasonable logical manner to those who are ignorant of the truth. As for Jews, they seem to have been picked as the scape goat from the beginning. Maybe that's what God meant when he told (Moses?) that the Jews were his chosen people. The only thing i can suggest in this case is pray, pray, pray for people to have more desire to understand each other before they make snap judgements. From the play South Pacific there is a wonderful song part of which goes "you have to be taught to fear and hate". I probably have that fuddled up a bit but you get the general idea. If we were all thrown together as toddlers and were raised by people who had no predjudice problems I think we would all see a great difference in how we treat each other. Pure conjecture of course.

Aids and other sicknesses are the result of a sinful world, brought about by all who sin, not just a particular group of people. Without sin there would be no aids, or sickness, the world would be perfect. God does not hate Jews or gays Jesus is a Jew, I hardly think God would hate his sons chosen people. He does not hate Gay persons but he does not agree with or condone their way of life. God loves all mankind more than we can comprehend as humans. The only way to heaven is through Christ, everyone will be accountable for their actions and lack of, on judgment day. Hate is not the answer to anything, we all must love, forgive and pray for each other and stop the hate.

You know what....i feel the same way. I am a believer in Christ and I cannot see how some people think that way. Will they ever be gone? As in dead? I don't think they all deserve to die, but of course as im sure you know, when people like that have children they raise their children that way, and so on and so on...that's why we have that going on in our society today. it's a never-ending vicious cycle and I have no idea how or when or if it's even possible for EVERY single person who thinks like that to change.

It would be odd for someone to believe that God hates anybody since we are all his creation. The Hebrews were the chosen people in the old testament. That doesn't make sense to hate them. As far as gays, again, all are his creation.

Unfortunately, probably not. Misguided believers exist in all religions, not just Christianity. Alas, they all get so wrapped up in the verse by verse literal translation of their chosen text (Bible, Koran, etc) they forget that the overall message of at least the "Big 3" (Judaism, Islam, and Christianity) is peace, love, and tolerance of the world and your fellow man.

God doesn't hate gays but here's some info about the AIDs comments in your Q. do you know how AIDs got to america? a gay american flight attendant on a plane had sex with a gay man from africa who was infected with AIDs. he brought the virus to america with him and spread it through sexual activity.

Unfortunately my friend it will never stop. There is too much sterotyping in our world amoung Christians and Atheist. They need to realize that God loves all. He's not tolerant of sin, thats why He sent His Son to pay thr price for our sins. If we accept Him as Savior.

for one thing the aids virus is not caused by the gays and the lesbians and so forth.it is came from the monkeys way back yonder.as far as helping them you can bend over for the gays and let them stick their pole up your rectum.and than you can go and tell your christian brothers and sisters that you have aids also and to band you to hell.now u will know how the gays feel.
