This is in a way regards to Persephone's "Why are non-believers Hateful?" question earlier. Why are some people so close-minded about certain topics that they make remarks like this? If I asked "why do Christians think Pagans are evil", I'd get hundreds of replies back oh-so-kindly reminding me that not all Christians think that way. If I asked "why are muslims terrorists" I know I'd get all sorts of answers back correcting my thinking.

Basically what I am getting at is, why can't people accept that not all people of different groups think the same way? I'm a Druid and I respect people and their faiths, regardless of the actions or opinions of a few within those faiths. My suggestion, understand and respect the different faiths, doesn't mean you have to join them. As well, people need to learn to not connect the hateful words or actions of a few to an entire group. Anyone else agree?

Yes, It's just a matter of spiritual maturity. Most people say God is unlimited yet they try to put Him in a Box. God is one but has many names, forms, qualities and pastimes. Krishna says in the Gita "Whenever their is a decline in religious principals, and the turht appears to be lost, I appear again and again or send my representative to reestablish the truth." So this is the problem people are still following truths that have been misconstrued by mans interpretation and evil doers by taking things out of the Scripture. But still nun the less the ones who choose that particular religion is doing the Best they can with what they know so God accepts that. It doesn't mean they will go to the eternal abode but they will get unlimited chances to evolve their consciousness to their original identity. go to stephen-knapp. for universal truths beyond religious designation.

I'm pretty sure there were two types of answers to Persephone's question. One being, "Non-Believers are mean because they are wrong" or on that vein. The other being, "Not every non-believer is bad and don't judge us all by one or two". And I bet there were a few "Because the believers started it" and "They deserve what they get". After all, these are the answers you'd find if you asked your example questions.

I agree we need to stop picking on each other, but it will never happen.

It seems that you have good intentions.

However, you need to stop asking loaded questions.

A loaded question is a question already answered by you(in your sentence), but you have put it in the form of a question. Or, a loaded question is an assertion of fact put in the form of a question.

The second question could have been: If you are a Christian, do you think pagans are evil? And if so, why?

i agree. we need to embrace everyone's culture and religion and not ridicule because someone else shares a different religion than us. there seems to be no peace and freedom of expression or religion on this board which is sad.

WHY ?

The first prophecy written.

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

I understand your view. but any other belief besides belief in Christ will send you to Hell.
Jesus came to die for your sins, so you wouldn't have to pay for them, no other belief offers a savior in placement for a believer.
To respect other beliefs would say I respect a lie, and I can't do that. You may be a cool person but do what ever you have to to secure your place in Heaven.
