I don't think so, since the majority of old women have short hair, usually a bobcut, so they shouldn't be scared to grow their hair, but of course if the hair's tired and not healthy, it'll make them look older. I know a woman she's about 60, but her hair's extremely beautiful, it's half grey half black, under the shoulder, and it's very healthy since she doesn't dye it the whole time.

It depends on your face shape, as long hair can "drag down" the face. Providing the hair is well cut, maybe with layers and feathered, there's no reason for it to look "witchy". But if it's left untidy with split ends and no shape, then it can start to look a bit scarecrow-like.

well I am afraid I am going to have to disagree. I have had short, short hair since I was in my late 20ish and now I am 48 and my hair is just past my shoulders. Now, grant you I color my hair, but I do get a lot of compliments from a lot of people including my boss, saying how great I look with my hair long. I do keep it neat and tidy. I don't see anything wrong with having long hair no matter what age you are as long as it's clean, neat and tidy.

certain it does. just about continuously it is going to take a minimum of 5 years (and extending) off a lady's perceived age, so someone of 40 5 will look nonetheless in her 30s, and a lady of fifty will look early 40s. at the same time as i change into an adolescent, there change into one previous woman who might want to were 80 all of us were given on properly with inspite of her age. She looked by some ability undying. that is been known because the days of flappers for women individuals to diminish their hair short and save it short. If the flappers were born around the turn of the most suitable century, then fairly properly easily everyone's memory of older women individuals has had her with short hair. in the early Nineteen Fifties, young women individuals were given short, tight perms alongside with heavy lipstick so that they could look as previous and as conventionally ideal as their moms. I save in thoughts seeing a image of an same women individuals two decades later who had grown out their hair, bumped off their lipstick and appeared youthful than they did in the Nineteen Fifties. The hippy chicks of the Sixties and early Nineteen Seventies regularly decrease off their hair in the late Nineteen Seventies and Eighties. they're of their 50s and 60s now, yet regularly have short hair lately. Older women individuals with lengthy hair tend to be recognized as better smart, better smooth, a touch eccentric, likely inventive or psychological, with the unusual religious sect thrown in. i might want to be overjoyed if my first female friend from France, who continuously had the most perfect chestnut brown lengthy hair when I knew her, has saved her hair lengthy nonetheless, even inspite of the actuality that she is now fifty 2 years previous, and in all likelihood gray.

it depends. the long "natural" look does go witchy. you can do a lot with hair (even when you're older) other than cut it all off. that can look too severe.

depends on the shape of face and body of the person, ex. a fat lady looks good with long hair because it make her hair look slimmer as well as the body, but if there is a verything banana shaped face, short will do, neverlong because their hair makes them look like a little sucked up straw---so age doesn't matter too mucho but style and shape.
