I have 3. I was 25 when I got my first sun/moon on the back of my neck. Which I love, only regret I didn't do it larger and add color.
Then after my first child was born I got a symbol for him on my low back, and then I got a sleeve w/butterflies and flowers on my arm just a few weeks ago. I am going to do more work (add color) w/my sun and moon and also add 5 stars to my other shoulder for my 2nd child. Maybe add more to my lower back and then I am done.
**for the ppl that comment how is that going to look in 40-50 years? well I promise you if I am 80 and still "running around" I won't really give a crap what it looks like...as long as I am still running around enjoying life!!! Nowadays the ink and the equipment they use is so much better that tattoo's are looking better longer!!**

I got my first tattoo last week and its my family coat of arms on my lower back. I've wanted this for about ten years so definately havent rushed into it! And while I wouldn't say I'm in Lady Di's arena, I'm definately no hussy. Most people won't see it unless I wear a bathing suit. I am a professional and wanted it to be where I could appreciate it without showing it off if I dont want to. But to each their own, there is nothign wrong with a tatt showing. I wouldn't NOT hire someone because they had one.
As for people saying tattoos look bad when you get old....are people really going to look at me when i'm 50 and wrinkled if I'm wearing a midriff and think i look hot if I don't have a tattoo? Honestly! I wish people would be a little more creative in their reasoning. I know it will be wrinkled when i'm old but who cares? It's not like I'll be parading around showing it off. People say tatts look bad when you get wrinkled and sag, cuz wrinkles and sag are gorgeous when you aren't tattooed? Seriously people be a little more imaginative! Ok rant over!

I have 6 and a 7th in the planning stage. Don't regret a thing because I really thought about them and chose designs meaningful to me.
1st is a Dreamcatcher, 2nd my wolf with native american writing, 3rd the eye of horus, 4th black design that I found, 4th Dragon, 6th Wolf paw print. For the 7th I want a section of poem written in elvish, but can't decide where to put it.
I always said I'd stop at three! That worked well huh?

I have three tattoos which I love. I love flowers so have a rose on my behind. Another rose on my ankle and a vine with purple flowers and my husband initials in it on my foot. I love the one on my foot as it is so different. I was 35 when I got my first so was very sure of what I wanted and have not regretted my choice yet.
I think the most important thing is to not go with trends as they become dated. And also make sure you have a competant person doing the job

I already have four, a unicorn head with a floral wreath on my right upper arm, a full-body unicorn with stars, moon and clouds on my left shoulder, a wedding band with 10 8 99 (my wedding date) in the center of it, with 2 small "stones on each side of the numbers, and a triquetra on my right, lower inner arm. All are in full-color. I also currently have 3 more tattoos planned, who knows, may end up getting even more than that

Never. Tattoos are so common now. Its much more interesting to find out that a person does not have a Tattoo these days. Tattos are just colorful scars you put on your body. I'm also not much of a fan of pain. Needles peircing through my skin is not my idea of a good time. And which classy lady has tattoos? Princess Diana? Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren? Gwenth Paltrow, none of these ladies have tattoos. Unless you find Pamela Anderson, or Carmen Electra to be a classy women.

I got a tattoo when my divorce was final. I got a moon with a few stars on my right lower back. I picked it because the sky was the limit, nothing was holding me back. I chose my back because I was a professional and didn't want it to show. Also, if I got old or gained weight, it wouldn't be in a place visible to everyone.

My sister died in 2005 and i have her name with flowers and butterflies on my lower back. That way she will always be with me in more way than one. I know its an odd place to put it but the truth was it was my first tattoo and my friend said that it would hurt less so i took the chicken **** road and put it there. lol.

I probably wouldn't. But if I did, I'd be a small one. No larger than the size of an adult's thumb fingernail. It'd be a symbol. A heart or star something like that and it would be on my upper arm to cover a mole that i have there XD.
