Go to www.google.com and type baby names or go to www.babynames.com. They have a lot of names on there with the meanings and if the name is for a boy or girl. You can also look up the top 100 names of any year on both of these websites. Good luck!

Are you looking for a powerful sounding boy's name?
How about Roman?

Some said Roman names and I agree. Something with "Maximus" in it so you could call him "Max" and it'd still have a punch. My favorite was "Atticus" from "To Kill a Mockingbird". It's a cool name, but not TOO forceful.

Germanic ones are good too, like Kurt or Carl.

If you want to go "American", there's always "Butch", "Jack" or "Burt", or any of the "cowboy-sounding" names, like "Doc" or "Wyatt" or the generic ones such as "Travis" (not a fave of mine).

You could always name him after your favorite rock star! How about Axel or Mick?

What about "Butch"?

We wanted to name our kid "Elwood" after Elwood Blues, but neither family would've survived it!

We thought of names from King Arthur (that name was taken already) and the Round Table, but they were all so weak...Lancelot? Imagine this: he's in school and they say, "Will Lancelot (Bedivere, Gawain, etc) report the office?" Nah...

We settled on another Welsh name, (a common one) which I won't say here, for the sake of my kid's privacy.

But I always thought that "Gavin" (a version of Gawain) was pretty cool!
