Darlin',you should keep it!! If she loves you then that includes all the attractive and the "unattractive" things about you :)

At the end of the day it should be your decision, dont be forced into anything you're not comfortable with, i mean it'd be a bit like you telling your girlfriend to get a hair cut - she wouldn't be happy.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of monobrows but if it's a family trait why not keep it, after all she was first attracted to you with it so why should you change now!
Ps I've checked out your pic on 360 and I dont think it's bad enough to justify being whipped off =0D

Man, it's your face. I personally don't see anything particularly unattractive about a mono-brow. (I come from a bushy-eyebrow gene-pool. I'm a girl and I have bushy eyebrows. And I don't pluck.)

I know some close relationships give the significant other veto power over some things (whether hair is short or long, for example) but it has to be a mutual agreement. Which means if she tells you to pluck your eyebrows, you should be able to tell her she needs to dye her hair. I'm not saying start an argument over this; I'm just saying you should ask her if those are parameters she wants to set for your relationship.

This is difficult.

If she wont leave you and your monobrow then keep it.

If she will leave the both of you and you think that her love is not worth losing then shave it on the promise that as and when it grows back, your girlfriend shaves it.

the problem is is that everyone knows you have a monobrow. no matter if you shave it, everyone knows that it used to be there. It's like a combover, you may think it looks better altered but in reality, it looks worse.

Your girlfriend needs to get a clue - that she can't change you. Most women don't think unibrows are attractive - I don't, in general; but a woman who supposedly loves you ought to love it because it is *your* unibrow. If my husband had one I'd want it to stay if he wanted it to stay. It can look okay. It depends on your overall grooming, which I assume is acceptable since you have a girlfriend.

That said, if you do break down and pluck it - if only just to see how it looked and how you like it - it could be grown back easily if you want, since the specs hide it. But have a professional pluck it if you do (you can really screw up plucking and make it look worse).

I would suggest that you compromise and maybe thin it out a little, men (no offence) do not realise how off putting a monobrow can be. Other than this piece of wisdom, I can't really answer this question for you, as this is an issue you should really discuss in depth with your partner, as she is the one who sees you all the time, and we only get a mental image of you.

That is a difficult one....I know me if you was my Man I would totally insist you get it taken off but if you refuse I wouldn't go shave it off or leave you over it...think about this you might gain her attention by compromising on the unibrow & hse is right this family heirloom wont go anywhere and will always grow back she didnt ask for permanent laser removal.

Why deny your heritage and your physical attributes for her? That monobrow is apart of who you are. Why would you let someone change that about you? I was always told that in order to be truely happy in life, you have to make sure you are happy. If you LOVE it that much, don't get rid of it. Keep it. It's yours and nobody, especially if she is your girlfriend, should ask you to get rid of something you love. Ask her, would you want me to get rid of you if someone that I cared about asked me to? Ask her that question, she might say that isn't the same, but in all actuality, it is. So, in conclusion, do what makes you happy. If she doesn't like it, then you have no business being with her in the first place.

I personally don't like uni brows BUT if you are proud of it and you like it, what right does she have to tell you to change yourself? She doesn't. First it will start with the uni brow, and IMHO, if you go through with shaving it, she will think she CAN change other things. Don't let her do this to you. If she is so uncomfortable with it then she knows where the door is. Obviously, and again IMHO, she doesn't love you for you.

Give the plucking a try it will always grow back if you don't like it. At least you can then say you gave it a go too.
