meaning of life....?
this life is a test for us! in this life we are here to worship one God, Allah. the purpose of our creation is to worship Allah and to act upon His Commands! this life is really short and on the Day of Judgment, we will be judged based on our deeds.
May Allah guide us all.

We were created BY God and FOR God. We are to glorify Him and enjoy a relationship with Him forever. We are to draw others to Him by setting an example by the way that we live. If you want to know more about your purpose there is a very good book out there.
The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. I hope that you find your meaning. It is really life changing when it happens.

The meaning of life?
This would be an opinion of course,for god has sent us out to search for this purpose.I,personally,would say,creation,love,and
friendship.God had tended us to be friendly yet as we advanced,wars and things struck out fighting.
Why are we here?
To do what god wants us to do.To be faithful to him,to live on his planet,in his world.
The purpose of our creation?
Again,this is a mystery we are all searching for,otherwise,I would say the above.To serve god's requests,and to live in peace.

You create your own meaning. The atheist worldview is life affirming in a way religion can never be, as Richard Dawkins aptly points out.
If this life is all you have, you make the most of it. It's meaningful because it's real and it's yours. In religion, it's just a "passing through" phase of a much longer life, so religion discourages us from finding true meaning in this life. Which is, by the way, the only one we get.

Apparently the meaning of life is for EVERYONE and their mother to get on Yahoo Answers and ask what the meaning of life is.
There is no intrinsic meaning of life. Life is what you make of it, we aren't here for any purpose, it's just part of the space time continuum and we happen to be conscious of it which causes us to wonder "is there a meaning to life?"

This is a wonderful day for you. Anyone who asks this question according to the Vedic texts are coming to real intelligence. We are not these bodies we are spirit soul, part and parcel of the Supreme soul. We left the spiritual eternal world due to envy of God. Being their is no hate or envy their ,the material world was created fot us. We try to lord it over material nature but we never sauced. This world is called illusion(Maya) and is full of suffering and misery. only one fourth of the souls come here.(the less intelligent ones) If one wants to get out of this mess the quickest and easiest way is to chant the Maha Mantra or the Great Mantra for deliverance from illusion and suffering.

We have unlimited chances to go back home (unannounced to the fanatical fundamentalist) There is hell but it is a temporary place to get bad Karma(reaction to our sinful activities) and the material heaven is for good karma and earth has a combination of both. The meaning of life is to live it. Make yourself and others happy, without causing discomfort to others. If you want an afterlife, write a book, or create some work of art that will last after your death.
