I avoid fire and anything to do with flames or anything at all. Even lighting a match or a lighter. Using the cooker frightens me and i worry about burning myself or what if there was a fire. i have always had this since i was a child. whats it called?

There is such a fear, its called Pyrophobia. The opposite of it pyromania, is an intense fascination with fire.

No it's not, we ceased categorising phobias by using Greek Root words decades ago, phobias are now either simple or complex and a fear of fire is a simple, specific phobia.
