great questions.... God tells us to love and be kind to everyone and to pray, even for the lost. that we may see as no hope. But, God alone knows the heart, and we are called to love, forgive and pray. correct, this nees to be told more often.
And yes more and more scientists that are Christian are making sence of so much of this stuff, and even darwin himself denounced evolution before he died. SO, just lets get tht word out, and keep praying. God says one day ALL will know. so we hold onto all His promises and press on.
God clearly says if science is contrary to His word, it is false. 1 Tim 620 get the word out Christians. we dont have to accept false beliefs, but we dont hate the ppl that have them. Even as Jesus was dying on the cross , what was His cry. FATHER< FORGIVE THEM THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO> SO, lets pray for them to KNOW, believe and accept. God still works miracles today. and faith still moves mountains. Keep the faith, Keep praying, believing and obeying God. Till Jesus comes. amen.

examine the "Ancestor's tale" - it truly is e book supplies compelling evidence that "proves" evolution. The biologic record is sparkling - the actual undeniable actuality that DNA is so similar between diverse species factors to a worry-free foundation. people and chimps are just about same genetically. If that isn't any longer sufficient, look on the fossil record. there's no evidence for creation except books written fairly lately on a geologic time scale. faith, so a approaches as i'll inform, is continually enhancing itself to allow for clinical advances. anybody who's smart, properly examine and would imagine with an open thoughts (except Sarah Palin?) will see that there is a approaches too a lot evidence for evolution to fake it doesn't ensue, and nonetheless is happening. examine The foundation of Species (Darwin). look how species round you're tailored to thrive of their area of interest.

I think you can find skewed stuff to validate any sort of view you have but the plain fact is:
Scientists believe in and have proved there has been evolution.
The problem is that no one knows for sure how everything got started.
The Big Bang from God and then evolution may be the answer.
I mean we already know God is not in the heavens, so that part of the myth is shot down for sure, so as we progress scientifically what other fairy tales in the bible will crumble?
You need to take a look at researching the facts and not trying to find articles, etc. that fit your belief system
I believe in God but I do not believe the myths.

You've got to be kidding. So many scientists? Yeah, right...
I remember a while back that the Creationists made up a list of scientists who believe Creationism, many of whom asked to be removed from the list when they found out they were on it. Did you guys remove them yet, or are they among the 600 you claim there?
There was a response to that list created by the National Center for Science Education, called the Steve list. It contains scientists who believed that evolution is true. It dwarfs the Creationist's list, even those the evolution list is limited to only those scientists whose name is Steve. This has to be a little embarrassing to the Creationists, especially since Steves represent only about 1% of the population.

I agree with you; we should be kind to everyone. I also agree with Captain Atheism; "If evolution was proven to be false tomorrow, it would do nothing to lend credence to the existence of a god." Jesus tells us in Mark 4 that not all of our words are going to fall on good soil. I think most of the responses to your question are evidence of that truth. If the theory of evolution must be taught in the classroom, the word "theory" must be emphasized. God bless you for the thought-provoking question.

www.dissentfromdarwin.org?
Ha! That link goes to the Discovery Institute. Of course they have a problem with evolution; they're Christians pushing an agenda. The only reason that society even exists is to promote Intelligent Design. Nice unbiased source... that's hilarious.

Your first website is looking for scientist, they are dissenting. If they had a leg to stand on they would just open a scientific journal.
“if you agree with the following statement, "We are skeptical of claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian Theory should be encouraged," then please contact us at”
Please do us all a favor get better sources, instead of a Christian apologist site. It hurts your argument.

Those are not real scientists.
Signed by a third rate creationist, one Phil Skell, a chemist at PSU. He's one of these guys who frequents various web-based fora, and whose only routine is to dogmatically declare that biologists don't use evolution. Over and over. He's a kind of pedantic creationist screed machine, who generates these tedious declarations and never, ever responds to any criticism.

For every scientist who dosn't believe in evolution, I would hazard a guess that there are at least ten more who do.
And the existance of evolution only disproves the existance of a god if you yourself choose to see it that way. There are many people, normal people and scientists alike, who believe in both a god and evolution.

Now if it were 600 biologists that might mean something. 99% of professional biologists- and there are several hundred thousand worldwide- accept evolution as a fact which really exposes the absurdity of your "argument". Evolution isn't in doubt and it isn't under any threat whatsoever from creationism-deal with it.

There is far more evidence for evolution than God. Those who would choose to ignore evidence are not scientists. End of story.
