All judging is in the future, either at Armageddon or at one's potential resurrection. Ironically, those who feel "judged" by the bible's message are actually displaying what the Scriptures call "conscience".
(Romans 2:14-15) [Unbelievers] are the very ones who demonstrate the matter of the law to be written in their hearts, while their conscience is bearing witness with them and, between their own thoughts, they are being accused or even excused.
Jehovah's Witnesses preach a message of "good news", and leave all judging for Jehovah and Jesus to perform "on the last day".
(Acts 10:36,42) Declare to them the good news of peace through Jesus Christ: this One is Lord of all others. ...this is the One decreed by God to be judge of the living and the dead
(John 11:23-25) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” 24 Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life.
(John 12:48-49) The word that I [Jesus] have spoken is what will judge [a person] in the last day; 49 because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment
(John 8:16) if I do judge, my judgment is truthful, because I am not alone, but the Father who sent me is with me
(Matthew 12:36) They will render an account concerning it on Judgment Day
(John 5:22,27-30) [The Father] has committed all the judging to the Son... 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because Son of man he is. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out... I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
(Acts 17:30-31) God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. 31 Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man [Jesus] whom he has appointed

The uproar when I posted about dishes and socks was highly entertaining. How else am I expected to entertain myself? One can form some sort of opinion based on text, but it is difficult to really judge a person without ever meeting them. Some here claim they would NEVER be interested/involved in an "internet person." But what these people forget is that their boyfriends/girlfriends already have an internet presence. They are "internet people" as well. Sally might have a boyfriend who she likes and seems "normal." What she doesn't realize is that a few evening a week, he goes posting on some far left wing blogger site about conspiracies and such. A person can post about bad behaviors they notice in men/women. But this doesn't mean any individual man/woman displays all of these behaviors all the time. Also, a person voluntarily logs into this site and reads stuff in the public domain. That is their choice. Sending a harassing email directly is more of an private invasion.

He is using the word incorrectly. Forming an opinion about something and taking a stand is not judging. Even saying someone is bad for doing something is not judging. Judging, as it is used in the scriptures, implies a passing a sentence. So saying that someone will go to hell is judging or that they should spend 8 years in prison is judging. Simply forming an opinion, "you are a bad person," is not judging, since you did not give or imply a consequence or sentence. People often use this word a little bit to liberally.

Judging takes place in different ways.1. When we accuse someone of something without proof.2.When we want to carryout the sentence.3.When we fail to use the word of God to prove the situation.
This thought that the world and even the church has that we are not supposed to judge is not scriptural.Matthew 7:1 is were they get this, but read on and it tells you to first get the beam out of your eye, (so you can see clearly to get the speck out of your brothers) verse 5.When our hearts are right with God we will want mercy and deal in love, and find the solution to deliver our brother from the sin at hand.
Matthew 18:15-17 Christ own words tell us if our brother sins go and tell him, but if he refuses to hear get 2-3 more to establish what is said. This should be done not to prove one wrong, but to prove what is right. If it is determined that a wrong has occured and he still refuses to listen then it is to go before the church, and if he refuses to hear the church then he is to be excommunicated. You can see this being practiced in 1 Cor.5, and again instruction give in Galatians 6:1-10. 1 Tim.1:19-20 here is an acount of two men who have been given over to Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
This isn't something we all want to just go out and start doing. It must be done out of love and not envy, and as the Holy Spirit leads.Isaiah 1:17a tells us to learn to do well, it's just not mans nature to do well.It goes on to tell us to "seek judgement ".Now if we're not to judge then why would we seek it ?A true Christian should have nothing to hide, and if there is something wrong he should want it taken care of before he stands before God on THE JUDGEMENT DAY.

Thje above answer by sweetie b is correct.
When a homosexual says that it's normally a false accusation because you understand the abnormality of their condition and their in-people's faces agenda. Judging has to do with a certain attitude, but seeing something as it is does not necessarily involve judging it.
For example, you could see a person eating something with his ear and point out that it's wrong, without judging him for it.

Funny thing, "judging". If I say that a man who molested children deserves to go to hell, most people would agree with me. Most people firmly believe in the sanctity of childhood innocence, and will protect children. Am I judging the guy? You betcha...dirty child molester, I don't want him living in my neighborhood around my kids!
Thing is, God loves that person. God knows what might have happened to him in his lifetime that made him the way he is...we don't. If we want to please God, we will show that person love and compassion...
The same goes for all kinds of sin...and we are all guilty of something. As a Christian, I do believe that homosexuality is a sin...just like lying or stealing, or any other sin. I have serious compassion for gay people. Can you imagine what it would be like to be, say...a pathological liar and live in a society that approves of your lies, and encourages you to live in them? It would be very difficult, I think, to overcome your sin if you live in a society that approves of it...

God does not go against homosexuality - religion does. And people who judge think they are better than others or think that they are saved and they have to drag everyone else, kicking and screaming, into what they think is a life boat.

Judging is making a determination about something. In this case, it is making a judgement about whether something is right or wrong. Even though you are claiming to quote God, you are actually giving your view of whether homosexuality is good or bad based on your interpretation of an old book that you choose to follow.

The same thing my friend means when she says hockey doesn't play a part in her not going to church on Sunday, even though on Saturdays she goes to out of town hockey games and gets in so late that she oversleeps on Sunday.
They're both in denial - my friend and the homosexual you speak of.

well I would say He doesnt want you to tell him that he is doing something God does not like,,we all dont like to be shown our faults and sins of course but how is a person suppose to know if you are not telling them,,We can at time say it in a mean way but how do you tell someone something if they ask..If someone asks me a question you better believe you will get what you ask for an answer and not a lie...I dont mean to sound mean but that is the truth dont ask if you dont want to know...thats how I feel,,sometimes it is there way of just starting an argument they really dont want to get out of the lifestyle but they want you to justifiy it,,same goes with any sin...
