It won't happen, but if it did...Roy outboxes him for 12 rounds, wins decision.

Both fighters skills have slipped a great deal from what they used to be. In fact many people think that they are both washed up. Roy may still have a little more left skill-wise than Mike at this stage of the game. But Roy's chin is the big question mark here. He was put to sleep by Tarver and Glenn Johnson at Lightheavy, so you have to figure even if a faded Tyson could catch him clean that he most likely would get knocked out. Even when all the other skills fade with age, power is the last thing to go on a fighter and Mike would still have the power to end this fight at any moment, so Roy would have to box and use his legs and i just don't know if he can do it at this stage of his career. I'd pick Mike because i just think that at some point in the fight that Mike would tag Roy and put him on his back. And i'm not sure Roy has the power to keep even a faded Tyson off of him for 12 rounds.

That is just a rumor. Roy Jones wanted to fight Tyson before Mike retired...but roy was asking for too much money. If they were to fight...I think that Roy would dominate Mike with his hand speed and quickness. Although Mike would still have a punchers chance at winning by KO.

first of all, roy jones issued the challenge, so that means he really want to fight tyson!!
and at that day, many boxers want to fight tyson to define their legacy. it seemed to me that everybody want to fight tyson to prove themselves. this include roy jones jr.

if they were to fight, i dont think roy will win this fight. i love both fighters but aint no way he will win the bout with tyson.

first, if you said roy is quick, tyson is also quick . he is one of the quickest heavyweight in the history. but he just getting stupid, he discard his peeka boo style and stop throwing lot of combinations. but still, he is still quick. maybe in this aspect, roy has an edge. but you have to remember, the power of mike tyson. its too much for roy to handle.

i will pick tyson and will knock out roy. and i think roy knew about this too. thats why he demand so much money for fighting tyson. i heard the money was for health insurance or something in case he get critical damage or something.

he know how dangerous tyson is

It would really be a test of conditioning for Roy . He doesn't have the power to hurt Tyson I don't believe. He would have to do a whole lot of running and it would be a full fights worth. If he were to stop Tyson would murderize him.
