You noticed.
That is the real God that you are talking about.
The one with the imperfect love is just a lie that religion tells about God.
Its about faith. Belief in a judgmental punishing God, is having partial faith that God is a good and loving God.
Seeing God as having an unconditional perfect love that never fails is having perfect faith.
I have simply decided that God deserves my perfect faith.
Love and blessings Don

God loves everyone, whether you believe in Him or not. God's always at work in your life, & He's always working around you. God's love IS perfect love & it IS unconditional. The reason why people suffer is because of Adam & Eve, & since then we're all born sinners & we suffer from our own doings. Not God's. God sent his only son Jesus to die for our sins, & we were forgiven. You should be thankful. God's love is perfect & unconditional. He obviously is an awesome God & has perfect love if he can forgive us for ALL of the sins we have done.

God is Love and His love is perfect. No where in the Bible does it say that He only loves those who loves Him back. That's error!!!!!!!!! God loves us even if we accept Him or reject Him. That's Unconditional Love!!!
But I don't have an answer to why people suffer more than others.

Every person in the world is a creation of God. God loves all that he created. Unconditional love.
But, when you give love back to God, you become His child, adopted into His family.
People suffer on this earth because there is an adversary who tries to "seek, kill, and destroy". God allows the adversary limited power for a time, to test the faith of His creation (He doesn't want blind followers -- He wants us to come to Him freely)
And the suffering people endure can be turned around for God's glory. I suffered a painful divorce, but now I use that pain to help others who are under the same pain.
But, guess what. Although we suffer, when we make Christ Lord of our lives, we receive the gift of eternal life. In that eternal life, there will be no suffering and tears.
Sounds like you are seeking. God is terrific! I used to question like you. I chose life with Christ.

Because of God's unconditional love, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Christ died for the ungodly; this is further proof of God's unconditional love. In fact, it is that same unconditional love which compels God to let His creatures choose their own eternal destination. It is His unconditional love which compels God to let us have free will. God will never force Himself on anyone; if mankind chooses to rebel against Him and reject Him He will allow them to do so, because of His unconditional love.
There are no strings attached to God's love. You don't have to bring anything to Him in order to receive His love -not that God needs anything, anyhow- you only need to bring yourself to Him for salvation. If God's love wasn't unconditional, He would not have sent His Son to die for an ungodly, rebellious and sinful world at all.

If you are serious go and pick up CS Lewis' (That's right the Narnia guy) "The Problem of Pain". It adresses all those eternal questions related to suffering that cannot be answered in a paragraph let alone a sentence. I doubt just blind reading of the Bible would reveal the truth to you, IF you are serious you need a focused study into this. Though I suspect you have an axe to grind or just want to piss people off.

Is God at fault because some power hungry dictator starves his people to death? Is God at fault because some drunk beats his 10 year old daughter to death? Is God at fault when a baby is born with severe birth defects because her mother couldn't stop snorting cocaine? Is god at fault because pharmaceutical companies keep shoving dangerous drugs down our throat? Is God at fault because a man is dieing of lung cancer from his two pack a day over 30 year habit? Is God at fault for the sickness in the world, or are we because of overpopulation, pollution, destruction of natural resources, etc... Is god at fault because his people can't stop bickering with each other over who's right and who's wrong when in fact they're all right? You have some nerve blaming God for all the suffering we've created.

That is imperfect logic. I love my children dearly and would defend them to the death but to not discipline them, even if it requires tough love, when they do wrong would be irresponsible of me as a parent. Sometimes your children will turn their backs on you and you have no choice but to wait and hope they will come back around. It is the same with God. He loves us all, but he will not tolerate our willful disobedience.

His love is unconditional, but he has given mankind freedom to act for themselves. Without this freedom mankind would not know the extent of happiness and pain, etc.; we would experience no personal growth without choice. It is not a requirement to love God to be loved, but God is bound by his laws. He is merciful, but he is also just. If he were to not enforce his laws he would be a hypocrite and not longer God.
