There was some CSI show on the topic. My pharmacology text does not directly talk about taking Visine (tetrahydrozoline)orally, but says some people who use the drops in the eye can get adverse effects on the heart. It is very strong at raising blood pressure, but unlike amphetamine tends to cause drowsiness. Roommates like that you don't need. It would be best to get totally shut from them.
