I don't mean the area code but if you know the area code and THEN those 3 digits following it, how can you find out where someone lives from that information?

beides the area code on a land line, the next three numbers will put you closer to where they live, but not exactly. Then if what you have is a cell phone number its not going to help at all.

there is a website for that. I use it at work sometimes. Do a google search for reverse directory or telephone search and it should come back with the site. Sorry if i was at work i could get you that address.

They are in the front of the phone book for your area. For other areas maybe your local library has phone books.
