ROFL!!! I'm not a Non-Believer in Persephone, the Greek Goddess of the Underworld. Is it lonely down there? Is that why you've come up here to Yahoo! Answers to ask us how lonely we are? *wink*

Always? Wow, I didn't know you read every answer in here! Things in the Greek Underworld must be lonely if you've read them all.

So, your grouping all non-believers into this "hate-filled" category. Wow you're close-minded. Maybe you and I should have a conversation some time. I'm a Druid, and I practice and teach religious freedom and respecting others' beliefs, no matter what that belief may be. I have friends that are Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Wiccan, Atheist, etc. I don't answer questions about Christ with hate, I just answer them the best I can given my religion. If "Sorry, but I don't believe in Christ, but..." is a hateful answer, then sue me.

Hit me up with a message sometime sweetcheeks, maybe you'll get a new perspective on the "non-believers."

Blessed Be.

Hateful? No. Exasperated, frustrated, and irritated by being regarded with the self-righteous arrogance and self-inflating bloviating that you take on whenever you deign to address us.

I respond with the same degree of sarcams you do when you encounter a faith or belief you don't believe in. I hold a mirror before you and you ask why I am the hateful one?

Good grief. Get a mitt and catch a clue.

If the only place I encountered non-believers was on this Q & A site I would have to say yes, they are hateful. However, in my personal life I know many people who do not believe in God and they are nice folks. Do volunteer work and help the sick. Just seems this Yahoo site attracts the nasties.

Well, ma'am. The question you are referring to is ludicrous. You are assuming that an atheist wants to believe. Nothing could be further from the truth. Don't ask ridiculous questions like that and you won't get hateful answers. Come up with something challenging and intelligent. They will respond accordingly.

You are doing something very sinful here, it is quite clear that many non-believers dont' like fundamentalists christians and the way they behave, but people like you try (uncleverly) to twist it around so that they hate god and christ.

Why are you making God and Christ take the blame for what people don't like about you and other so called christians? Is it really fair to god if you to take a dislike of you and try to make it seem like the hatred is directed at God? Doesn't this make you evil, or at least a hypocrite to direct the criticism of yourself and your behavior to your God?

Atheists hateful? Some may get upset when they realize that somethings wrong with a God concept that has taken over 100 million lives and encourages the followers to ignore it. Do You?

No, but I think that many atheists as well as many religious people show a lot of animosity towards one another on here just like you are doing. I never see this intolerance anywhere but here on Y!A.

Patronising people to deliberately provoke a hostile response is pretty hateful and shows a lack of respect for others and their beliefs, but that is what your questions are clearly intended to do.

I see more hate coming from the believers than I do the atheists.

And I'm even a believer.
