God has no interest in being worshiped.

This is religious nonsense. A lie about God.

probably there is more than one reason but when I do acts of worship it makes me feel good. The closest thing to this feeling that I can use an example is smoking really good hashish and drinking one or two wine coolers. Not exactly the same but kinda close. Sometimes way more intense sometimes just kinda peaceful. Also it is a highly emotional state so for me since I am emotionally constricted due to Ptsd from during Nam, it is nice to feel something.

Note that one of the Nephilim rode with Noah because he exceeded what God told him to do and took his daughter inlaw Rafael, which is a form of the word Rapheum which is another word for Nephilim, as is anakim. Many if not all the people who God ordered the Jews to kill were decendants of this woman.
So like I mentioned it is an interesting study

I worship God because I can. In some countries it is not allowed and here it is. It is an act of faith because you are worshiping something you cannot see. There are benifits from reaping what you sew to being in His presence, but it is not for any expectations. Just the fact that He is there and when you worship Him you are saying that you believe it. If yiou change the word God to TRUTH, because that is another word for Him, then you are worshiping TRUTH. If you worship Truth it kinda forces you to operate in that state of mind too. Change God to Love and use the same kind of idea. If you are worshiping LOVE, then you are forced to be in that state of being. If you are in Love and you are in Truth and you are in God, it is an awsome place to be. What a priviledge it is to serve a God with so much to give. And what a priviledge to serve and worship a God with so much to give us to giove. I personally cannot get enough Love and I cannot get enough Truth. With that comes the power to attain and retain anything your heart desires. Praise you Father God, Praise you Jesus and Praise you Holy Spirit. What you get out of it is not why but it is an automatic fringe benifit.

Because I LOVE HIM, with all my heart, soul, mind and strength and He has given me salvation through Him! He is not only my Savior but my Healer, my Friend, My King, My Comfort, My peace and My joy! I love Him too much to express in words....And I absolutely LOVE to worship and honor Him. Because it is Him who should be worshipped and He deserves all the glory!

John 4:23
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

John 4:24
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

I worship God and I love God for sending His only Son to die in my place. That is a big offering to give and I know I cannot match that gift, but I do tithe my 10%, as God said that is what I should do for Him. I also serve God in the church by driving a bus for handicapped people so they can go to church and hear about God too.

I don't actually worship God, I believe there is nothing but God.......A oneness that Buddhist seek to attain. I know they don't call it God and I understand why........there is no personality, no need for worship or tributes, just being. Life is the collective consciousness of the universe struggling to understand itself. We are a part of the whole, we are the mind of God.

(4) Exodus 20:4
“You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. 5 You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion."

1. Yes
2. N/A
3. No
4. Yes. He's Truth & Love, dude, why wouldn't I want to worship Him? Also, life really, really sucks. Without God, & His Son, Jesus, life would not be worth hangin' around for!

Reason number one is good for me. If there were no god there would be no me, and no family of mine. I do not expect you to believe as I have seen your cynicism in other questions. All I can say is I would have died a few years back had God not decided it was not time for me to go. I give him thanks for everyday I am alive because he promises no tomorrow.

4. Other : Because I want to.

Not afraid of Hell, not because he bribed me with Heaven, and okay, I might owe him something, but thats not the reason I do it. I want to, I like to, and thats about it.

Because God is the one-way ticket to eternal life.
Because He has worked so many miracles.
Because he loves me, no matter what.
