I am a 21-year-old male. All through my childhood and teenage years, I had very thick and wavy hair. Now my hair is noticeably thinning in the front, and my hairline has definitely shifted higher. People have pointed out to me that my hair is receding. This is embarrassing because I'm still young and want to look nice. Is there anything at all I can do to help this situation?

There are several reasons why your hair is thinning and or hairline receding. Most likely its genetic and your grandfather on your mothers side had/has the similar issue. However other factors include health, medication, stress etc... If you believe that it is genetic try products on the market such as Rogain. A VERY good product to try is Nioxin Cleanser and Scalp Therapy. Check out their website and figure which one is good for you, they are sold by levels from 1-8. They have a great "Access My Needs" page where you can input your info and they can suggest a product. If all else fails and you are truly concerned try speaking with a Mens Clinic that deals/specializes in hair loss. There are many options today, not just transplants!

1) Tattoos are personal, they don't seem to be supposed to be preferred through each person else. In fact, i like tattoos, but many of the tats I've obvious i don't like, and they are fantastically performed, I simply do not like the proposal. That does not mean the man or woman carrying the tattoo would not love it. 2) you do not inform him his everlasting choice is silly, once more, he could not suppose it's stupid, and even if he does, how would that help? Getting a tattoo that one does now not love and then having half of the population pronouncing how bad it's only makes the feeling rather a lot worse (if that have been the case, if he is in love together with his tattoo, don't try to damage it for him). 3) don't be shallow. I've seen some quite stupid tattoos, and the batman brand just isn't on that record. Appear prior his skin, if it bothers you that much, then perhaps you should be honest about your emotions for him. He is the one getting stared at, now not you, i do not see what your hindrance is. Have you ever ever puzzled if some humans who stare do it in view that they suppose it is lovely brilliant?

Sorry to hear about your receding hair line. My brother and I both started losing our hair when we were young. Our grandfather is completely bald, by the way. He currently has male pattern baldness stage 2 and I have stage 3. We just started using propecia and it seems to be helping.

If you are looking for more information about male pattern baldness or hair loss in general, I would suggest checking out these guys:

They have a lot of information about treatments and hair loss. Hope I could help.

Go to this website and request a free sample of the thermal fusion scalp revitalizer. I used it on a patch of hair that broke off and quit growing and I noticed a difference after about 2 or 3 weeks.

Just be happy with who you are!! Confidence is so sexy in a man! My husband just turned 26 and has thinned a great deal since we starting dating six years ago!! I love that he can still look great and be confident about it!!

nothing you can do! just learn to love it! My husband is thinning (very much so) and he is only 26. You just need to keep your hair short so you don't look silly and end up with a combover!
