Klimt Oil Painting - The Kiss, who are the kissing couple?

I was looking at this painting on this website: http://www.overstockart.com/kifvipr.html the kiss by gustav klimt. i was wondering who are the kissers?

Klimpt painted after model. On of his models was even his mistress.
In any case the kissing man is not Klimpt (he was fat, short and balled) . I gues they were simply his models. The woman in the Kiss appers in other paintings of Klimpt.
