How would you answer God back?

Well, it certainly won't be "because I read the kjv" lol.
Because Christ died for my sins, and I acknowledge I'm a sinner, repented (and continue to repent - meaning change) and put my trust in Him, and Him alone.

I'd answer, "I would hope because I have tried to live my life by the teachings of Christ. I know I am weak and have failed in my life to be as your son was, but I humbly ask for your forgiveness."
