I was told it is best to not drink liquids with your meal because you dillute the digestive acids used in your stomach.

Some say after, but I have always drank mine during meal time. I would think that, drinking and eating, is a good mix for the stomach to digest. Instead of drinking before, and getting too full to eat. Or afterwards, and your so full you can drink.
I do believe its best to drink water with dinner, instead of sodas, and other sugar drinks. Helps wash food down better, and better for ya.

Depends what your beverage is. I've heard it's healthy to have a glass of wine with dinner, yet I'm told if you prefer milk, it's healthier to drink it after dinner. Water, on the the other hand is good for you at any given time. Helpful?

During a meal because it tends to get killed down faster due to the digestive system being in action for the food. Remember that men burn off liquior faster than women and drinking on an empty stomach has the strongest effects to the liquior in the blood.

Some people need fluids handy at mealtime to aid in swallowing.
I choose to not have a beverage at mealtime.
There is a story out there that if you drink a bev. before eating you don't eat as much, but that only works with soup in my experience.

Your actually supposed to drink your bevrage after the meal. If you drink it during or before the liquid will carry manty vitamins and minerals away as it gets digested since you digest water faster than solids.

I don't think it makes a difference as long as you are hydrating. Now in cases where you are taking a vitamin it is better to wait until later to take the vitamin C, if you take it with a juice that is citrus it will deplete some of the vitamins and can cause upset to the stomach. So they should never be ingested together.

It's best to drink water with your meal, because the moisture from the water helps soften the food and make it easier to digest (just like saliva).
