u could wrap your hair... mostly black people with relaxed hair do this but it can be done to hair of any ethnicity that is wavy or almost straight... my hair is way to curly to do this... u just brush all your hair in one direction in a big circle (behive style) around your head (you will probably have to pin it) i would start by parting from ear to ear... comb half of your hair forward (like over your eyes) and the rest back... then start @ one ear and brush the front section going towards the other ear... pin it... then do the same in the back (in the other direction)... then just keep brushing and combing in a big circle around your head (kinda like your head is a giant roller)... the just tie a scarf around it tite and sleep on it... u make have to use a flat iron where the clips were but it's better than all over

If your hair is long, after taking a shower, bobby pin it to your head, putting it all up when it is wet. When it drys, it will be kind of straight.
If your hair is very thick, it isn't that bad to use a straighter because you will have plenty of hair to spare.
Another option is to blow dry it straight. You can do this by using a round brush and holding your hair taught while blow drying. It will have some volume though.
Good luck and if these ideas don't work for you, ask your hair stylist.

It will not be straight without heat or chemicals.
BUt one way to slightly tame it is to wash it with a shampoo/conditioner that says it 'tames curls'.
Then, brush it back into a bun, use holding gel/spray, and wear your hair like that for a good part of the day.
When you take it loose, it will be tame, but slightly wavy at the ends.

Your only other option is a relaxation treatment, which is even worse on your hair! Try buying a heat protectant for your hair!

i used to sleep on my wet hair.. not really good for u, but u can try. or let it air dry and then sleep on it. make sure it is tight and flat under ur head/back. it'll flatten it anyways, not be as wavy/frizzy.
