Curly hair turns puffy because it is dry. Try a shampoo with ingredients like Proplyene Glycol and lauryl Sulfate. Dove also works well the Styling Curl Cream Weightless Moisurizers. Also NEVER brush curly hair. A diffuser for your hairdryer helps. make sure you blow it up and get the tips up towards the roots.

You need Biosilk Therapy – it is a little pricey but SO WORTH IT!! It works fabulous and you can use it on wet or dry hair – try to keep it away from the roots of your hair though and not too much product… can make it appear oily. Another great on is CHI’s silk therapy… but I think it kind of smells like men’s cologne.
