Hi met this girls, exchanged phone numbers. Sent a msg to her asking her out and she said she's busy for this weekend.
I guess this is a standard excuse girls make? why she gave her phone number? Totally confused.

if she gave her phone number she is really interested in you.
If she says she is busy maybe she is really busy. Give her time to plan out when you could go out. Ask her when she could be available.

General rule of thumb, if a girl turns your down three times then she's not interested. Maybe this girl was busy this weekend. You got two more times to go. Good luck

If she gave you a "real" phone number then she is actually interested in going out with you. Find something really fun to do that she can't resist and I am sure she will go out with you.

Did you try to schedule for another date? Maybe she really was busy. Tell her a different specific date that you would like to take her out, and if that doesn't work offer another alternative. If she still shuts you down, then I don't know why she would have done that. Good luck to you!

She is blowing you off, try calling back in like 3 days and if she gives you another lame excuse throw away the phone number....or save it for prank calls your choice

Could be an excuse. If it weren't, I think she would have tried to make plans for a later time. Put the ball in her court by saying she should give you a call when she has time and wants to make plans.

i dont think she would of given you her phone number if she wasnt into you so she was really probably just busy get to know her and ask her another time

there's a possibility she changed her mind, or maybe she's really just busy. you can try to ask her out again, but if she gives another excuse without asking for a raincheck, then she's not interested.

ok she gave you her number cuz probably was trying to flirt and be pretty. and what she told you is the biggest excuse girls make! either they have a boyfriend already, she dont like you, she's shy, or she's just a *****!!!

Give her another chance,It's possible she really was busy. Talk to her instead of sending her a message, it's harder to turn someone down in person!
