How can we make a relationship that's interracial, long distance (I'm in MD, he's in Northern VA), and 2 different religions work?

I'm not sure if the different races and religions are what will make your relationship difficult. The real issue is the distance. Long distance relationships are always difficult. Find unique ways to keep in touch. Send sail mail (I know its old school) but it is more meaningful than writing emails. Designate phone time and catch up with each others lives. Its difficult to maintain a long distance relationship but it is definitely not impossible.
