Filet Mignon, no sauce. If the meat is good, who needs sauce?

I'd have to go with one of the filet mignons, but that's just me. Steaks that include bones (porterhouse, rib eye, etc.) generally have more flavor (because of the bone). Many people don't like the filet mignon (tenderloin) because they say it has almost no "beef flavor" that you'll get from a boney steak. For me, its hard to beat the texture of the tenderloin, and even if it isn't very "beefy," its still damn good.

It depends if you like big or small steaks and if you like a good season one or not. After you know then ask the waitress what they recommend as oppose to what you like. I like small very good seasoned steaks so I would get the filet mignon or the cajun ribeye steak. Most waittresses have tasted everything or they know what most people like and are pretty good at suggesting.

Single cut Filet Mignon, not sure about the sauce, but, the best way to eat a filet is medium rare...

the filet mignon. It's the tenderloin of the beef. That's the best cut. Bearnaise sauce is rich. You probably only need the single cut. double cut I assume is a double portion. It will be really rich and delicious.

Wish I was going with you!

Totally agree with soxrcat. Cant go wrong with just a plain filet. Totally worth the money.

a t bone and porterhouse is the same thing except on a porterhouse, the tender side of the cut is larger than the tenderside of a t bone, most people don't understand it, but they're pretty close to the same price. so a porterhouse.. or.. maybe even a new york strip, medium rare.

It really depends on Who is paying :) Ribeye is usually a really good cut, but if someone else is flippin the bill, go for the gusto ;)
