I don't know what you mean by "makaton" but there are many online websites that teach signs. Try http://www.commtechlab.msu.edu:16080/sites/aslweb
Or, look up "american sign language" on google or whatever. I think that's what you are talking about.
Also, though I am a big believer in teaching young children how to sign you need to be saying the word you are signing and try to get them to say (or attempt) the word they are signing, otherwise you could delay their actual verbal communication, which is not a good thing.

There's a guy- I can't remember his name, but he used to present play bus and he has made videos of children's songs signed using Makaton and so that might be a good place to start. My mum used to use it at her nursery. Check with your council as well- if you work for them they should run courses that your school can send you to for free, there's only a very basic vocab so it's not hard to pick up very quickly and using songs with actions really helps.
Dave Benson-Phillips his name was- I just remembered!

Makaton is a very simple language with a small vocabulary, here's a google search, you can probably find quite a lot about it online.
Also try your local social services, staff probably learn makaton and may have some resources.
If its for your job, your school should be helping you with this!
