You've got to contend with St. Paul's letters and ask why the turn round and how come he got in so deep so quickly. I mean they pre-date the gospels in terms of authorship and are totally authentic first hand letters....
There's also St. Peter. Why did he go the distance after such a poor performance at the scene of Christ's trial....To hang round for till AD67 to be crucified - upside down, by his own request - in the defence of a lie. Cowards don't defend lies with their lives and Jewish zealots do not seek to universalise the faith of their fathers not unless something awesomely profound had impacted on them.
You've got to consider the quality of the witnessing...They simply wouldn't have gone the distance had they any doubt.
It's all true and it mirrors all my inner expectations and needs; Christ is our Saviour..No doubt whatsoever.

Remember that satan is the father of lies. Islam is a man-made religion (which means it is not of God) so don't be surprised by the lies that come out of it.

Jesus died on the Cross for our sins and our infirmities so that we could go to heaven when our days are over. What did Mo offer his followers?

Mo sounds like some of our politicians, doesn't he? Oh well, greed has been a popular vocation for a lot of so-called leaders.

I am sure that Jesus is glad that the parables are not in the quran. Enough said.

Crucifixion was the Roman punishment at the time when Jesus lived. I believe it was invented by the Phoenicians. It was a cruel death and one that made sure that the poor unfortunate victim did die. Jesus was crucified and was truly dead as a spear was put into his side and blood and water came out. What some people cannot swallow is, how can God (Jesus) die!

The Greek word rendered “cross” in many modern Bible versions (“torture stake” in NW) is stau·ros´. In classical Greek, this word meant merely an upright stake, or pale. Later it also came to be used for an execution stake having a crosspiece. The Imperial Bible-Dictionary acknowledges this, saying: “The Greek word for cross, [stau·ros´], properly signified a stake, an upright pole, or piece of paling, on which anything might be hung, or which might be used in impaling [fencing in] a piece of ground. . . . Even amongst the Romans the crux (from which our cross is derived) appears to have been originally an upright pole

This is a theory that has some evidence to support it. The problem is - you will need to do some real research, read a lot of books, think and discuss rationally, and develop an interest in history. It`s easier to just read a Bible, and ignore education.

I really don't care much for religious arguments. They can be sooo lame and pointless.I would like to know who created so many religions just so we would have wars over which one is the true religion or God's chosen though.

I am a christian and I know that Jesus died on the cross, but what is the question.?
I think mohammed had too much time on his hands, wasn't he the unemployed husband of a shepperdess.May be his thoughts where misconstrueded, it may have been just a thought more than a statement of fact.
