Do Lebanese men treat women differently than American or other foreign men? A grilfriend who is American of mine just got out of a relationship with a Lebanese man and she said he was very controlling a dominate. she said he seemed scary. Is it a cultural thing?

Well, as a Lebanese guy I have to say I was never called "dominating". In fact I like girls who are independent and not clingy or anything. It really isn't a cultural thing as much as its a guy thing. Some guys think that this is how men are supposed to be like. If she said he seemed scary, then he must have issues.

Dragon if ur a lebanese guy i feel bad for u lol. Lebanese men should stick to lebanese women as both are so snobby and judgmental and so pro french that, that they think they are better than everyone else. I used to be one of them until i found out i wasnt like the rest of the culture which looks down at anyone not from the lebanese race. Girl just find urself a nice guy, if your wondering about lebanese men, stop wondering
