You can brush your teeth. Usually your clothes, hair, hands and body smell like cigarettes more than your breath. I would think that your mom would smell that first. It's is best just to quit smoking. I'm a former smoker and quit 11 months ago. I know it is hard to do but in the long run it is better for your health and you feel better as well.

I smoked for 10 years. I gave up smoking 2 years ago. One of the best things I've done. Smoking waste of my time, health & money. The best thing you can do for nice smelling breath is not to smoke

Chew some gum!! Something like orbit extra!! The thing with smoking though is that it lingers in your hair and on clothes so even if you chewed gum after a cigarette your mum will probably smell it on you anyway!!!

Apart from smoking not being good for your health, the best thing to freshen your breath to avoid detection is to chew a sprig of parsley, hopefully your mum has some in the kitchen, if not you can buy a small bag of it at virtually any supermarkets, good luck!
